Fascinated by the camera technique, based on sequential photographs, used by the scientists that studied the the behavior within flocks of birds, Linke began to follow them in their observation sites, focusing his work on the dynamics of the flock union and on the reaction of the birds to the external phenomena.

Working as a photographer and filmmaker Linke combines a series of image processing technologies aimed at blurring the boundaries between reality and fiction. His practice focuses on the use of photographic archives and on the relationships and influences between urban and architectural functions and the human beings related to these environments.

Armin Linke (Milan, 1966) lives and work in Berlin. His work has been presented in many museum and is included in major public and private collections worldwide.
